Grinch gloves

I was asked to recreate gloves for “The Grinch Who stole Christmas” at Madison Square Garden. Kansas City Costume was hired to refresh and recreate a new set of costumes. The original creator of the fingers wasn’t available. The actor also had some issues that I was able to solve. He liked to have long fur on the finger tips but the original design wasn’t made to have them. When doing the sculpt, I added an indentation allowed fur to be sewn into them without breaking the foam rubber.

Another of my assignments for the job was to make his Santa coat as well as the Dog hat and collar.
